More than 100 students from schools across the UK came together to present and share their research at Tonbridge’s annual science conference on Friday 10 March.
Pocklington School pupils and staff from the Chemistry Department, demonstrated the 'colour of chemistry' to pupils at a local primary school to support their science evening.
A Tonbridge team has won the UK round of the Weizmann Get Cracking competition. Run by Weizmann Institute of Science, this contest requires teams of Lower Sixth boys to design and build their own safe, which can only be ‘cracked’ by solving various Physics puzzles.
Forty-six pupils from Royal Hospital School (RHS) in Holbrook, Ipswich, visited Sizewell B nuclear power station in Sizewell, Suffolk, to learn about electricity production and its environmental impact.
