Holocaust survivor Edgar Guest inspired the next generation with a powerful talk at Brentwood School urging students to never forget the ‘power of words.’

Students and staff from King’s Ely Senior and King’s Ely Junior came together at Ely Cathedral to mark National Holocaust Memorial Day.

The Department of Education (DfE) released new data on 25th January 2018 that aims to show the academic progress students have made since joining a school. This change follows concerns around previous league tables that showed the percentage of students achieving grades A* to C. The previous system was considered unfair by many as it took no account of students’ starting levels and therefore the actual impact the school had had on students’ academic attainment.
