Churcher’s College Junior School pupils were enthralled by a day of workshops lead by the dynamic Rob Hughes from Learning Performance. The children considered how they learn and how they could improve their study skills.

Girls with a love of singing are being given the chance to experience what life is like as an Ely Cathedral Girl Chorister.

A spectacular night of musical prowess saw Weald House crowned champions of Brentwood School’s House Music 2017 on Wednesday night, 20th September. Hosted by Mr Bulmer, Director of Performing Arts, and with a greatly enhanced staging and lighting direction, the evening provided a very high calibre of entertainment for the 1000 strong audience.

Three hundred children were able to sing to their heart’s content at King’s Ely’s annual Choral Day.

This month, Dauntsey’s hosts an exhibition of classic cars, vehicle designs from the Royal College of Art, sculpture by Angela Palmer, photography by Iain Kemp and student work from the Art Car competition. The display, entitled ‘Art in Motion: the Car, Knowledge and Design’, is being held in collaboration with Messums Gallery and Classic Car Safe.

The Froebelian School, Horsforth, Leeds was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) in the summer and was judged to be “excellent”, confirming its position as one of the best independent preparatory schools in the country.
